I started my own label when I was 22 years old.

 

Having Graduated from National Institute of fashion Technology in May 2011, I gave away my job as a junior fashion designer with Future Group, to start my own venture.

My brand started as a small boutique shop where I made custom outfits for my clients all by myself.



 

That boutique became a label in 2014 when I launched my 1st official collection CELCIS. 

​

My 11-year journey as a founder & then Head Designer of SHRUTI S has seen 10 couture collections, 6 fashion shows, 28 exhibitions (both India and Abroad) and a clientele from all over the world.

 



My signature style is an amalgamation of my inclination towards Indian textiles & Art and modern aesthetic sense.

 

I use tie & dye, block printing, zardozdi, mirror work, thread work and Aari work. 

In past few years I have up-cycled the waste sequins material into a very unique form of embroidery.



 

Over the years, people know me for my styling aesthetics through my personal blog and my styling editorials with the leading magazines.



 

Shruti S, today, is one of the most promising budding designer labels of the country, selling all over India and abroad.
