Having Graduated from National Institute of fashion Technology in May 2011, I gave away my job as a junior fashion designer with Future Group, to start my own venture. ​ My brand started as a small boutique shop where I made custom outfits for my clients all by myself. That boutique became a label in 2014 when I launched my 1st official collection CELCIS. ​ My 11-year journey as a founder & then Head Designer of SHRUTI S has seen 10 couture collections, 6 fashion shows, 28 exhibitions (both India and Abroad) and a clientele from all over the world. My signature style is an amalgamation of my inclination towards Indian textiles & Art and modern aesthetic sense. I use tie & dye, block printing, zardozdi, mirror work, thread work and Aari work. In past few years I have up-cycled the waste sequins material into a very unique form of embroidery. Over the years, people know me for my styling aesthetics through my personal blog and my styling editorials with the leading magazines.
